FAQs

  • I am based just outside of Canterbury in Kent, UK.

  • You can now order simple requests through my website by visiting the ‘Shop’ page!

Alternatively, if your order is more complex you can send me an email and I will send you an order form to fill out.

  • Yes, I offer delivery subject to location. The further you are from me, the higher the price of delivery will be. I am not currently delivering outside of the main Canterbury area but please ask for specific locations. Please also be aware that tiered cakes, and large orders will cost more to deliver. Traybakes and cookies can be posted nationwide.

  • I ask for a minimum of two weeks’ notice on all products as this allows me to design your order, order in any extras, and ensure I have the time set aside to bake. Of course, the more notice I have, the more likely I am to be able to fit you in and ensure your order is absolutely perfect. If you order with less than 7 days notice, there will be an additional charge.

  • The simple answer? Yes you can! All flavours and sizes are open to a discussion prior to placing your order, so if you don’t see anything that’s right for you, please get in touch via email so I can try and accommodate your preference.

  • Unfortunately, I cannot cater fully to dietary restrictions since I bake from home and there are many allergens present. I have a very select few vegan recipes that I do occasionally work from, but again if it is vegan for the purposes of avoiding allergens (such as dairy or egg) I cannot guarantee there won't be the presence of allergens. If you would like to enquire about any allergens present in anything you are ordering, please email and also make very clear on your order form what you are allergic to.

  • All prices displayed are a ‘starting from’ price – these are subject to change at my discretion and are for the most basic options available.

For anything more personalised or anything with additional extras, different flavours, or specific custom/personalised options, prices will increase.

The price of every product covers the cost of the high-quality ingredients I choose to use for the best results, the cost of materials, the price of my time and skills which I have spent many years improving and adding to, and the overall admin/customer service I give as this is all run by just me!

  • For standard orders, payment is taken via the website.

For more customised orders, I ask for a non-refundable 50% deposit in order to secure your order paid by BACS/bank transfer or PayPal. This is to ensure that you do not cancel last minute when I have already made the products. The remaining balance must be paid on collection (cash or BACS/bank transfer/Paypal) or beforehand. For further details please see the terms and conditions.

  • I fully appreciate that something might come up which means you cannot collect your products. If this happens, you must let me know as soon as possible – this is to avoid cost to me and to you. If you cancel your order outright after the quote is agreed and the deposit is paid, you will not receive a refund.

If you move the date of your collection/delivery or amend your order after a quote has been agreed and a deposit has been paid, you may be charged for any additional costs that may incur as a result. In this case a deposit is transferable.

Please see the terms and conditions for more information on this. Depending on the circumstances, and the length of notice given, all reasonable efforts will be made to accommodate any changes – again this is to avoid cost to both me and you.

For any other questions please get in touch via email.
